Louisburg Cider Mill has plenty of seating outside, but we''ve never seen the mill busy except in the fall for Ciderfest. Though they weren''t currently making the donuts, Kristin enjoyed seeing where the magic happens. We''d also have to wait until fall to see the cider mill in action.
This little nook just a couple of miles off the Louisburg exit is a great place to stop. Lots of locally made jams, Apple butter, cider, honey and apples galore. Any things I go for a drive in the country, I stop here for a cider donut break.

In 1975, Emmett and Mary O''Rear bought an 80 acre farm outside of Louisburg, Kansas, and it was on this farm that Emmett envisioned developing a business that would process and sell apple cider.
